Pricing

Engagement models & directional pricing

Most agencies hide pricing behind a sales call. We publish ours because buyers ready to invest at our level deserve to know up front. Audits run $4K–$15K, projects $15K–$150K+, retainers $12K–$25K/month. Final pricing depends on scope — these ranges are accurate within ~20% for 90% of engagements.

MOPs Audits

Fixed-price, deep-dive review of your marketing automation platform. Three scopes:

  • Targeted audit: $4K–$8K. Single workstream — scoring, deliverability, lead routing, or integration sync.
  • Standard audit: $8K–$12K. Eight-workstream review of a single MAP instance. The default scope.
  • Enterprise audit: $12K–$15K+. Multi-instance, multi-region, multi-business-unit deployments.

Full breakdown on the MOPs Audit service page.

Project work

Fixed-price after a paid 1-week scoping phase. The scoping fee credits toward the project if you proceed.

  • Targeted projects ($15K–$30K, 4–8 weeks): scoring rebuild, deliverability remediation, lifecycle redesign, single-system integration
  • Mid-market implementations ($30K–$80K, 8–14 weeks): new Marketo or HubSpot setup, mid-complexity Salesforce integration
  • Enterprise implementations ($80K–$150K+, 12–20 weeks): multi-instance, multi-region, custom objects, revenue cycle modeling, complex CRM integration

Retainers

Your extended MOPs team. Monthly fixed-fee for a defined hours commitment.

  • Light retainer — $12K/mo, 40 hours. Right for a team that has internal MOPs capacity and needs senior backup.
  • Standard retainer — $18K/mo, 80 hours. Most common tier. Covers campaign execution, optimization, and 1-2 small projects per quarter.
  • Heavy retainer — $25K/mo, 120 hours. Effectively a full-time fractional MOPs team across implementation, operations, and analytics.

3-month minimum, then month-to-month. Hours don't roll over.

Outsourced MOPs

For B2B companies that don't want to build a MOPs team in-house. We become your full marketing operations function — campaigns, scoring, attribution, lead routing, deliverability, integration ops.

  • Mid-market OMOPs — $25K–$40K/mo. Covers a mid-market B2B company's full MOPs function.
  • Enterprise OMOPs — $40K–$60K+/mo. Larger team, multi-business-unit support, multi-system ops.

Six-month minimum, annual contracts standard. Includes a named MOPs lead + supporting team + escalation to architect.

Not sure which fits?

The 30-min scoping call is the easiest way to figure it out. We'll listen, ask questions, and tell you honestly which engagement model — if any — makes sense.

What's included in every engagement

  • Senior-led work — engagements are led by senior consultants and/or certified architects, not handed off to junior associates after the SOW
  • Written deliverables — every audit, project, and retainer engagement includes documentation you keep
  • Knowledge transfer — we explicitly enable your team rather than locking knowledge inside the agency
  • Honest scope conversations — if a project is going over scope, you hear it within the week, not at the invoice
  • Vendor neutrality — we run Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, and Eloqua. We'll tell you honestly if your platform isn't the right fit

What's not included

  • Platform license fees (Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, etc.) — those are billed by the vendor directly
  • Third-party tool licenses (Bizible, ZoomInfo, Drift, etc.) — same
  • Long-form content production (blog posts, eBooks, video) — we focus on MOPs, not creative production
  • Paid media buying — we set up tracking and attribution but don't run media accounts

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you publish pricing? Most agencies don't.

Because it qualifies hard. Buyers ready to invest at our level get useful info up front; buyers looking for $2K work self-select out before either of us spends an hour on a discovery call. Final pricing depends on scope, but the ranges below are accurate to within ~20% for 90% of engagements.

Do you offer fixed-price or time-and-materials engagements?

Both. Audits are always fixed-price. Implementation projects are typically fixed-price after a paid 1-week scoping phase. Retainers are monthly fixed-fee with defined hours. T&M is available for ongoing optimization or unscoped work.

What's the minimum engagement?

Smallest engagement: a targeted audit (scoring-only, deliverability-only) at $4,000. Below that, we don't have the right cost structure to deliver senior work and we'll refer you to a freelancer or to HubSpot/Adobe direct.

How do retainers work?

Monthly fixed-fee for a defined hours commitment — typically 40, 80, or 120 hours/month. Covers ongoing campaign work, optimization, troubleshooting, and weekly stand-ups. Hours don't roll over. 3-month minimum, then month-to-month.

Do you charge for the discovery call?

No. Initial 30-minute scoping calls are always free and never sales-pitchy. About 30% end with us recommending a different agency, freelancer, or platform partner.

What if I don't have budget for any of this?

Honest answer: a full agency engagement may not be the right fit. Options: hire a senior in-house MOPs manager ($130K–$180K base), use a freelancer through MarketingOps.com or Toptal ($75–$150/hour), or self-implement using platform documentation. We're happy to help you think through the buy-vs-build tradeoff on a free 30-min call.

Let's talk scope.

Free 30-minute call. We'll discuss your situation and give you a directional estimate. No pitch, no commitment.
